I served as a Police Advisor for 1 year 10 months from  September 2010 to July 2012 in the African Union United Nation Hybrid Operation in Darfur Sudan

While working in Darfur, I gathered knowledge of security management in a post-conflict environment. as a police advisor I liaised with the United Nations Department of Safety and Security according to the mission mandate as a police focal point and a zone warden contributing to security information analysis, incident investigations, security risk assessment,  working closely on security matters with the local security officers in the Team Site in El Genenia West Darfur,  preparing and maintaining updated security plans following the United Nations Security guidelines, supervising the safe delivery of humanitarian aids to Internally Displaced Persons, providing training and advice to Police Peacekeepers on Safety and Security matters, Staff Tracking and Warden System among other vital security functions contributing to the achievement of the mission mandate and the peaceful continuation of the operation. I am fluent in English both oral and written, a certified investigator, a member of the International NGO Safety and Security Association, and United Nations  FS 4 Security Officer roster member. I have the aspiration of developing my career in Security Management and Leadership.
